Hyderabad: Sreenidi Deccan FC (SDFC) posted a clinical win with a goal from David Castaneda to beat Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU) FC 1-0 in their inaugural match on their home turf, the Deccan Arena, as part of the ongoing Hero I-League on Thursday in Hyderabad. SDFC have now won two of their opening three games of the 2022-23 season.
The Hero I-League is an annual football competition and India’s first-ever top-tier professional football league. It is one of the most reputed and sought-after football tournaments in India on par with the prestigious Hero Indian Super League (ISL) and the Durand Cup.
