About Sreenidi Deccan Football Club

Sreenidi Deccan Football Club (SDFC) is part of Sreenidhi Educational Group which also includes Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Sreenidhi International School, KMR Foundation and Sreenidhi Sports Academy.

SDFC was founded on 1st January 2015 becoming a professional Football Club in May 2018, got its first accreditation with All India Football Federation (AIFF) in June 2019 and its currently playing All India Football Leagues for the age groups of U13, U15 & U18.

We offer multiple football programs from 5 to 16 years old, for different playing levels. Our first commitment is to our players. All our players are treated with respect and equality, giving all of them the same opportunity for their development. We want each player to enjoy their time with the Club, be challenged in a positive and safe coaching environment, improving themselves as players and as people.

The Club is a partner with the Telangana Football Association and also works closely with All India Football Federation, being the organizer and promoter of multiple football tournaments like SFC Premier Cup, SDFC Golden Baby League and AIFF Grassroots Day. We believe that Football is a powerful platform to promote peace, equality, health and education for everyone as well to unite people, cultures and nations.

SDFC is recognized as one of the top Football Clubs in Hyderabad and Vizag and is developing world class facilities as we recognize that to develop world-class players, we need to have world-class facilities so we can provide to our players all the conditions and the appropriate context for their development in order to achieve their full potential.

In August 2020, SDFC was granted the playing rights in Hero I-League from 2021 onwards and the Club will be playing in Visakhapatnam. We will focus on having a team filled with Indian players, but we also have to keep an eye on the competitive levels, and if required we will explore the possibility of getting a few quality overseas players. Also the development of local talent is important for us and we would very much like to have a few players from Andhra (Pradesh) and Telangana on the squad as well.
